Our  Building:
Location:  Saline High School is located 1300 Campus Parkway, Saline, Michigan  48176.

School Building Policies:
Saline High School operates under a closed campus policy.  Students must stay in the building from the time they arrive (including prior to 7:50 AM) until dismissed.  Students arriving after their class schedule begins or needing to leave before the end of the day must sign in/out with the attendance assistant.  The student must furnish a written note or a telephone call from their parent /guardian explaining the absence if they arrive 15 minutes after the start of their classes or leave before the end of the day. Violation of this guideline is truancy.

In addition, because Saline High School is a closed-campus, non-Saline High School students are prohibited from visiting during the school day.

Visitors:  Saline High School is a closed campus and all visitors are required to register at the main entrance desk to obtain a visitor pass.  There is designated visitor parking in the main entrance lot. 

Student Drop off: Students should be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance...please read on for detailed information.

Building Usage:  Use of the school facilities is managed through Community Ed.  Contact Joe Freeman about using school faciitites (Performing Arts Center, Pool, gyms, commons, etc.)

Driving and parking:
The Student Driving/Parking Rules and Regulations have been revised.

New this year:  students must acknowledge and sign they have read the 2010-2011 Student Driving/Parking Rules and Regulations.  

Parking in assigned areas must be in appropriate rows as designated by the flow of traffic.  In an effort to improve student safety and reduce traffic congestion in the west-end Gym/Pool side parking lot at Saline High School, the entrance to the Gym/Pool side parking lot from Campus Parkway will now be one-way from 7 AM until 8 AM, and 2:30 PM until 3 PM during each school day.  Motorists will then follow the directional arrows and exit signs as they progress up the parking lot main drive and then out through the athletic complex exit near Hornet stadium.  For your driving convenience and everyone's safety, please be observant of these traffic flow directions. 

Bus Loop:  The designated SAS district bus transportation drop-off and pick-up for students is located in the circular drive at the east entrance (near the auditorium).  Only busses are permitted in that designated area.

Student Drop-Off/Pick-up:
We have observed many parents dropping car-riders off in restricted locations.  This creates serious safety concerns for our student pedestrians, as well as our staff, when they are forced to walk against the flow of bus and/or car traffic. 

Please be reminded when driving your student to school, you may drop your student off at the MAIN entrance (south) or the northeast student paring lot, but not the east side bus loop.

Students riding district-provided bus transportation are dropped off in the designated bus-loop on the east side (near the auditorium).
