Location:  Saline High School is located 1300 Campus Parkway, Saline, Michigan  48176.

School Building Policies:
Saline High School operates under a closed campus policy.  Students must stay in the building from the time they arrive (including prior to 7:44 AM) until dismissed.  Students who wish to leave school for an importatn reason must request permission from a building administrator and sign out at the 1st floor attendance desk.  Violation of this guideline is truancy.  In addition, because Saline High School is a closed-campus, students may not have friends/relatives accompany them to school.

Visitors:  Saline High School is a closed campus and all visitors are required to register at the main entrance desk.  There is designated visitor parking in the main entrance lot. 

Student Drop off: Students should be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance...please read on for detailed information.

Building Usage:  Use of the school facilities is managed through Community Ed.  Contact Sharon Dunny about using school faciitites (Performing Arts Center, Pool, gyms, commons, etc.)

Driving and parking:  Reckless and/or careless driving on school grounds in prohibited.  In such cases the Pittsfield Township Police Department will be notified.  Please note:  Campus Parkway has two round-abouts and a vehicle in the round-about has the right-of-way.  Parking in assigned areas must be in appropriate rows as designated by the flow of traffic. 

Bus Loop:  The designated SAS district bus transportation drop-off and pick-up for students is located in the circular drive at the east entrance (near the auditorium).  Only busses are permitted in that designated area.

Student Drop-Off/Pick-up:
The student drop off/pick up area is located at the main entrance on Campus Parkway.  Please be reminded that if you drive your student to school (morning and/or afternoon) the one and only drop off for students is at the MAIN entrance, NOT at the east or west entrances.  Please be sure to use this designated area at all times to help ensure a safe environment for our students and staff.

Students riding district-provided bus transportation are dropped off in the designated bus-loop on the east side (near the auditorium). 

Students driving to school must park in the designated student lot on the east side or the west side of the building.

In addition to these serious safety concerns, we must remind parents and students to NOT park at the curb by the west entrance at any time.  In fact, critical safety issues have arisen with parents, in particular, who are parking at curbs in both directions along the west entrance drive.  This results in students and staff members exiting the west entrance between parked vehicles without having a visual of any entering and/or exiting vehicles.  Additionally, drivers have little or no response time when pedestrians are emerging from in between standing/parked vehicles, trying to cross the drive to get to the parking lot.  Further, curb-side parking, impedes traffic flow in both directions.  Please be mindful of this announcement as safety is our first priority.
