Drop off / Pick up location:
Look for an updated traffic pattern to be in place by the end of January or so. It will involve having only one lane entering the parking lot from Maple Road, a designated drop-off zone within which we are asking that parents drop off their students within a 7 second time limit, and inaccessibility to the parking zone except for teachers. Until we can get the barriers in place, you can help make this work by doing the following:
Once your car has passed the entry into the parking area and comes to a stop, drop off your student.
Stay in line and move on through the zone and out of the parking lot following the other cars.
If you enter the zone and do not need to stop until you reach the A entrance, proceed to that point then stop.
Under no circumstances should you enter the parking area and drop off your student there.
(If you have a meeting in the school, use the front loop to park and enter the school).
Under no circumstances should you form two lanes in the drop off zone.
We have approximately 250 or more students being dropped off each day. This can be helped also if you arrive a little earlier to drop your student off. The time when the drop off zone is most backed up is from 7:25-7:35. If you are coming to the building for a meeting before school, it is OK to park in the loop at the front of the school. Likewise, if your student has a handicapping condition, you may use the area in front of the school for drop off.
